Position: Specialist IT - Risk and Compliance (f/m/d)
Based at our headquarters in Leoben, Austria, you will be part of our IT Infrastructure & Security Team. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth execution of internal and external audits.
Your Responsibilities
1. Prepare and schedule audits (internal and external).
2. Coordinate with IT departments and staff, including audit participants and external auditors.
3. Monitor and document audit findings and non-conformities, and report the status of these issues and corrective actions to IT management.
4. Prepare and train audit participants on expectations and procedures.
5. Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to align on audit requirements.
Your Profile
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, automation, industrial engineering, or a comparable field, or at least 3 years of professional experience in a related domain, or 3-5 years of experience in IT, security, or compliance auditing.
2. Knowledge of auditing standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/2, NIS2, NIST).
3. Experience conducting internal and external audits within IT or IT security environments.
4. Strong understanding of IT security principles and risk management practices.
5. Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with internal policies and external laws.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with departments, auditors, and management.
7. Project management skills to plan, execute, and follow up on audit activities within deadlines.
8. Fluent in written and spoken English.
