Deine Rolle im Team
* Design and develop robust backend solutions using modern Java technologies as part of our platform backend team.
* Act as a technical leader within the team, ensuring high-quality code through code reviews, automated testing, and documentation.
* Drive team productivity, ensuring that all team members are effectively engaged and supported in their roles.
* Represent the development team in discussions with stakeholders and line management, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Facilitate communication and information flow within the team and across departments.
* Support and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
* Identify and escalate issues proactively to ensure smooth delivery and team alignment.
* Contribute to architectural decisions and the evaluation of new technologies and frameworks.
Unsere Erwartungen an dich
Qualifikationen
* Strong understanding of RESTful APIs (OpenAPI), secure coding (incl. TLS/certificates & cryptography e.g. encryption, JWT), JUnit and ideally tools like Gradle/Maven, Quarkus, Consul, Traefik, Keycloak, Artemis.
* Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MS SQL, ...).
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide and align a team.
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a collaborative working style.
* Fluent in English; German is a plus.
* Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5 %).
Qualifikationen
* Several years of professional experience in Java development, ideally in distributed systems and platform services.
* Proven experience in agile software development and working in cross-functional teams.
