This position reports to: Sales Manager Short Term Business
Your Role: Own the Challenge In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the distribution of products/systems/services within a defined market/area in line with the business strategy. Every day, you'll meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also demonstrate your know-how by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
Sales and Market Development: Sale of drive components in your assigned sales territory (East Tyrol/Tyrol, Carinthia, Salzburg). Identification and evaluation of new opportunities with existing and potential new customers. Acquisition of new customers (sales partners and end customers) and support of existing customers, including opening up new markets as part of the corporate strategy. Continuous increase in sales volume and margin in the drive technology portfolio.
Customer and Competitor Analysis: Analysis of customer needs and monitoring of competitors to tailor sales approaches and ensure competitive positioning.
Sales Planning and Contract Management: Development of an annual sales plan as well as solutions and tenders, ensuring their implementation. Obtaining offers from suppliers, conducting contract negotiations and contract conclusions, as well as tracking and processing them.
Collaboration, Documentation, and Event Support: Close cooperation with the service, order processing, product management, and marketing departments. Documentation of all activities, planning, and follow-ups in the central CRM tool Salesforce and internal tools. Support of fairs and events while acting professionally with a keen understanding of colleagues and business, in line with ABB core values of security and integrity.
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World Completed HTL or higher-level education (electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation technology) with a commercial background
At least 3 years of experience in the sale of products and system solutions in electric drive technology (electric motors, frequency converters, digital services, services).
Demonstrated competence in building and developing sustainable customer relationships and a high willingness to travel
Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, driver's license "B" and very good handling of the common MS Office programs.
Knowledge of the CRM tool Salesforce.
Cooperative, solution-oriented and working style, very good presentation and communication skills

In accordance with the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry in Austria, the minimum salary for this position is €75,000 gross per year (May 2025) inclusive Bonus. There is a clear willingness to offer compensation above the collectively agreed minimum salary, depending on qualifications and experience.
