Media Data Governance Specialist – Full‑Time

At Red Bull Media House we aim to empower our organization with a strong, collaborative data culture. This role focuses on shaping and promoting a unified data mindset across the company – by crafting engaging internal communication strategies, developing training materials, and fostering a vibrant community of data practitioners and advocates.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute creative internal communication strategies that make data topics visible and engaging across the organization. Produce targeted materials – newsletters, SharePoint posts, videos, infographics – to highlight updates, success stories, and best practices in an accessible and inspiring way.
* Support the establishment and continuous growth of a strong network of data owners, stewards, and analysts. Foster collaboration by facilitating connections between teams, encouraging knowledge sharing and nurturing a sense of shared responsibility within the data community.
* Plan and coordinate structured governance touchpoints – Data Owner Council meetings, steward office hours, community of practice sessions. Capture key insights from these interactions and feed them into governance discussions, content roadmaps, and training priorities to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
* Create visually appealing and easy‑to‑understand materials for data‑related programs, including slide decks, videos and training modules. Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to keep content current, relevant and tailored to different levels of data literacy – empowering employees to confidently engage with data in their daily work.
Experience & Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in internal communications, training development or a related field, with proven ability to create clear, engaging and audience‑appropriate content.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in fluent English, with the ability to translate technical or data‑related concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences.
* Experience developing training materials, presentations, e‑learning content and visually appealing materials using tools such as PowerPoint, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, gather feedback and summarise engagement metrics to continuously improve communication and learning initiatives.
* Interest in data concepts, tools and technologies – such as data visualization, analytics or reporting platforms – to support effective communication and training in a data‑driven environment.
* Travel: 0‑10 %.
Minimum salary: EUR 2,303 gross per month, as per the collective agreement. Our compensation package is market‑oriented and typically above the stated minimum.
