Description MISSION: Drive qualification of product and process on one or several projects to reach customer targets of quality, safety, reliability & robustness until product end of life.
Responsibilities
Responsible of quality tasks for one or several projects
Coordinate quality related tasks of projects
Non conformity management on projects
Ensure the limitation of risks
Check Norms compliance and validation process
Adapt referential to lessons learned and state of the art development and quality control processes
Guarantees application of methodologies and tools (especially design reviews)
Know IATF16949 and ISO9001, plus dedicated software and electronics norms with the impact on his function
Coordinate quality related tasks of a project
Ensure reliability, safety, compliance to norms & regulations – ensure good deployment of quality targets and project objectives internally
Know and apply customer requirement on his project (CSR/ Customer Specific Requirements, special customer characteristic, customer standard, customer portal)
Maintain permanent and direct contact with customer quality representatives
Coordinate quality team for the project according INPRO and INCHANGE rules (or project team for innovation transfer) until product end of life with participation in company Services and suppliers’ facilities to the trials
Ensure that project related quality deliverables are in line with budget and timing
Define test and measurement device and control plan linked to FMEAs
Check EOL testing objectives and challenge them
Coordinate the preparation and submission of PPAP parts – Prepare PPAP submission to obtain approval.
Under request, participate to suppliers audit for electronics, sensors
Or, in case of innovation transfer, provide quality documentation coming from research department team required by project team
Non conformity management on projects
Issue non conformity documentation (including deviation waiver) for parts delivered to internal and external customer (8D form or customer form)
Analyze prototype or pre-series quality with respective initialization of necessary corrective actions (tolerances, dimensions, production process etc.)
Manage claims issues including negotiation with customer
Lead problem solving analysis, track corrective actions and finalize activities by a lesson learned
Ensure the limitation of risks
Understand, identify and alert quality risks and deviations within the scope of the project. Has the responsibility and authority to stop production or development program in the event of unchangeable violation and quality risk.
Technical review of software content (dead code, libraries, task management, memory mapping and load, floating/fix point check, Misra rule compliance, …)
Attend design review on models and control law validation
Check validation test also on model validation
Verify that project deliverables respect the process and comply with best practices
Conduct audits, when appropriate, support the building of action plan and check the application
Applied, deployed, SDF activities on projects if requested by OEM.
Guarantees application of methodologies and tools
Deploy & support use of quality management tools in agreement with processes and procedures
Train project team to appropriate quality tools
Check that required actions & documentations from customer APQP are implemented on time
Report on conformity with INPro methodologies and unchangeables
Assess the performance of quality engineering activities through process indicators and improve processes by continuous improvement
Propose & improve quality management tools, including procedures and instructions
