Your tasks
1. In the event of acute malfunction incidents at home and abroad, you will go troubleshooting and solve the problem independently or in teamwork.
2. You maintain, service and support the existing network infrastructure (core and access switches, WLAN, firewalls, VPN, SD-WAN).
3. You are independently responsible for the specialist areas assigned to you and take on routine tasks such as support, updates and log file analyses.
4. You support the IT helpdesk as well as your colleagues in the introduction of new technologies and in the implementation of projects and strategies.
5. You document all work and tasks you perform completely and carefully.

Your profile
11. You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or engineering or have trained as an IT specialist for system integration or as a technical assistant for computer science.
12. You have in-depth knowledge in the areas of networking, routing, WLAN and VLAN as well as good know-how of firewall technologies.
13. Ideally, you also have experience with Cisco and/or Fortinet products.
14. You work independently in a medium-sized, multidisciplinary and multilingual team.
15. You are open to new as well as old technologies, tackle challenges fearlessly and are willing to continuously improve your skills.
16. You have a class B driving licence and are willing to travel for occasional work assignments at our locations in Germany and abroad.
17. You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English. Additional language skills, e.g. in Polish, Czech or Dutch, are desirable.
