About The Company
Bitfly is a well funded scale-up company in the
blockchain explorer
space, based in Vienna, Austria. Our open source platform
allows users to browse and analyze blockchain data (like Ethereum transactions, smart contracts, and more) with speed and reliability. We process the entire Ethereum
execution and consensus layers
(transactions, state data, and validator activity) from archive and beacon nodes.

Role Overview – What You'll Do
As a
Product Designer
at bitfly, you'll be the steward of our design system – ensuring it's not just consistent, but also empowering for product teams.
This is a senior role with plenty of autonomy and influence. In particular, you will:
* Own and maintain the Bitfly Design System to support product teams.
* Design and refine UI components that are reusable, accessible, and visually cohesive.
* Collaborate closely with front-end engineers to ensure smooth design handoff and pixel-perfect implementation.
* Work with product managers, engineers, and other designers to ensure seamless integration of the design system.
* Advocate for design consistency and best practices across teams.
* Contribute to the evolution of Bitfly's design language and brand identity.
What we're looking for - Is this you?
We're searching for a systems-oriented designer who thrives on detail, collaboration, and visual excellence. Ideally, you bring:
* Proven experience as a Product Designer or UI Designer.
* A strong portfolio showing design systems work, component libraries, or complex UIs.
* Advanced proficiency in Figma and UI tooling.
* Experience working in cross-functional product teams, especially with engineers.
* Passion for scalable, maintainable design.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
