IT Support Specialist
to join their team in Austria. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are ready to relocate from Hungary or the surrounding European countries and would like to experience working and living in Schremms, Austria. The role requires both
German and English language skills
, as you will support a diverse user community in an international environment.
We are looking for a seasoned IT specialist who can independently support local and remote users, manage the full lifecycle of end‑user devices, and ensure adherence to internal IT standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain end‑user devices such as PCs, laptops, mobile phones, printers, and related peripherals.
* Support operating systems and productivity applications, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Apply ITSM methodologies (incident, request, change, problem, asset, and project management) to meet service expectations.
* Maintain and update the site's IT disaster recovery plan and coordinate walkthroughs with stakeholders.
* Troubleshoot site‑specific IT systems, perform root cause analysis, and drive long‑term solutions.
* Contribute to infrastructure, security, and operational excellence initiatives; identify areas for improvement.
* Participate in internal audits and assist with IT infrastructure budgeting and forecasting.
* Evaluate complex technical data and lead small technical teams or initiatives with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or relevant secondary education.
* Minimum 3 years of hands‑on IT experience.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience with hardware (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals).
* Working understanding of broader IT infrastructure: networks, servers, storage, telephony.
Nice to have:
* ITIL Foundation or CompTIA A+ certification is an advantage.
* Experience with manufacturing‑related equipment (barcode scanners, industrial PCs, RF scanners, specialized printers) is a plus.
