We are currently looking for an experienced and ambitious "Security Engineer " who will be responsible for the continuous development and security of the data center.
Your main responsibilities:
* Operation and further development of security solutions with a focus on Palo Alto and Fortinet
* Continuous evaluation of new technolgies and trends around network and IT security
* 2nd and 3rd level analysis, troubleshooting and ticketing
* Documantation and knowledge transfer to colleagues
* On-Call duty (every 5 weeks)
Your profile:
* Several years of experience in IT security, network technology (firewalls, LAN/WAN)
* Very good experience-based knowledge of IT security concepts
* Knowledge of firewalls
* Know-how with automation and scripting (reading and interpreting)
* Experience with PHP or Python would be a plus
* English is mandatory, German is an advantage
