We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities on a large-scale data center project. This on-site role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in delivering complex MEP systems within mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise on-site MEP construction activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
* Coordinate the efforts of MEP subcontractors, resolving technical and logistical challenges to maintain progress and productivity.
* Interface with design teams to ensure constructability, value engineering, and adherence to project specifications.
* Collaborate closely with project controls, scheduling, and commissioning teams to facilitate smooth handovers and system integration.
* Monitor daily site activities, perform quality inspections, and enforce health & safety protocols across all MEP trades.
* Participate in coordination meetings and provide regular progress updates to project leadership.
* Review and verify method statements, installation drawings, and material submissions in accordance with project requirements.
* Oversee testing, inspection, and commissioning of MEP systems to ensure performance compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP construction management, with a strong background in large-scale data center projects.
* Deep understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, fire protection, power distribution, BMS, and plumbing infrastructure.
* Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work under tight deadlines in a high-performance environment.
* Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, local regulations, and commissioning processes.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, Navisworks, BIM tools) is a plus.
