Are you a proactive facilities management professional looking for an exciting opportunity? JLL is seeking a skilled Senior Facilities Manager to join our team in South Australia.
As the Senior Facilities Manager, you'll be the site representative for several key SA assets, reporting to the Senior Property Manager. You'll be responsible for managing building operations, maintenance, and tenant relations to ensure optimal performance and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Oversee maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire, and security
* Manage contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Implement tenant retention strategies and maintain excellent tenant relations
* Monitor and manage property data (Energy, Water, and Waste)
* Develop and maintain standard documentation procedures
* Procure and tender contractors for PPM contracts and various projects
* Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed
* Health, safety and compliance responsibilities as applicable
What you will bring
* Experience in managing multi-story commercial assets and their systems
* Strong knowledge of building services, including fire systems and building intelligence
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Proactive, achievement-oriented approach with a "can-do" attitude
* Flexible team player with practical problem-solving skills
* Computer literacy with the ability to adapt to new technologies
Health and Safety Responsibilities
* Implement all relevant national, state, and local legislative requirements
* Conduct site safety inspections and audits
* Participate in account, site, and client committees/meetings as required
* Ensure statutory inspections and testing are completed for the sites
* Oversee compliance
