Note: Candlelight is Fever Originals’ series of classical music concerts in a candlelit setting, taking place in intimate venues worldwide. Cities include: France (Paris, Toulouse, Lyon), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia), Portugal (Lisbon and Porto), and the United States (Los Angeles, New York, Chicago). Candlelight aims to democratize classical music and provide a unique experience for each audience.
Role
Onsite Event Coordinator for Candlelight Concerts. This is a part-time freelance/working student position with concerts mainly on weekends. Transport costs are not compensated and are included as part of the hourly rate.
Main Responsibilities
* Act as main onsite point of contact for Candlelight events and staff; communicate directly with Fever Originals managers
* Provide full visibility into staff rosters; set schedules; coordinate with the staffing agency regarding reschedules
* Ensure each staff member is trained in duties (ticket validation, guest seating) and completes safety measures training while representing the Fever brand
* Manage venue inventory
* Handle printing needs
* Manage guest lists for all events
* Lead opening and closing remarks at events
* Provide daily reports to Fever Originals Project Managers about event status, including pre- and post-event findings and feedback
* Assist with evaluating and conducting walkthroughs of potential venues
* Opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing company and potentially manage Candlelight and other Fever Original Events in other areas
* Represent Fever and Candlelight professionally and serve as the main customer service contact at every event
Required profile
* 2+ years of experience in event management and/or a relevant degree (preferred)
* Native German and fluent English; other languages a plus
* Interest and passion for live music and event organization
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Experience leading an on-site team
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Knowledge of AV and PA systems (desirable)
