CAMO Manager (NPH)

We are supporting an air charter and management service provider to source a CAMO Manager (NPH) on a permanent basis based in Central Europe.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure continuous compliance with EASA regulations, LBA requirements, and applicable national legislation.
* Develop, maintain, and obtain authority approval for the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME).
* Maintain regular reporting to the Accountable Manager on airworthiness status, compliance performance, and risk exposure.
* Ensure effective implementation of airworthiness directives (ADs), mandatory manufacturer instructions, and operator‑specific technical requirements.
* Develop, monitor, and approve maintenance programs considering global operational profiles.
* Perform airworthiness reviews and issue Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC).
* Monitor aircraft and component status, including LLPs, Hard Time, and On‑Condition items.
* Ensure complete, accurate, and audit‑ready technical records and documentation.
* Assess and approve deferred maintenance, MEL‑related technical limitations, and technical releases in AOG situations.
* Ensure independent technical decision‑making of CAMO in relation to maintenance execution.
* Manage and oversee contracted Part‑145 maintenance organisations worldwide, including the company’s own Part‑145 organisation (line and base maintenance).
* Ensure clear organisational and functional separation between CAMO and the in‑house Part‑145 organisation in accordance with EASA and LBA expectations.
* Define and monitor interfaces, responsibilities, and escalation pathways between CAMO and Part‑145.
* Monitor performance and regulatory compliance of contracted maintenance organisations.
* Work closely with the Safety Manager and Compliance Monitoring Manager to integrate continuing airworthiness into the Safety Management System (SMS) and compliance monitoring framework.
* Actively participate in safety and compliance activities: hazard identification and risk assessment, continuous improvement initiatives, audit preparation and support.
* Provide technical leadership and professional development of CAMO personnel.
* Hold budget responsibility for the CAMO function.
Qualifications
* Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience within Continuing Airworthiness.
* Previous experience working as a Nominated Post Holder for Part M.
* Management experience within an EASA regulatory environment is essential.
* In‑depth knowledge of EASA regulations (Part‑CAMO, Part‑M, Part‑145, Part‑OPS).
* High level of decision‑making ability and assertiveness, particularly in situations involving CAMO and maintenance conflicts of interest.
* Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
