Summary
You will join the Global NCSIMUL Support Team within Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence's Production Software Business Unit. This team delivers high-level technical (Level 2) support for NCSIMUL. NCSIMUL is a CNC machining simulation, verification, and optimization software that enables the creation of digital twins of real machine tools. It is a niche, high-end solution used by leading industrial customers in the aerospace, automotive, naval, nuclear, and other industries.
This role is ideal for an experienced support engineer or CNC/CAM specialist who wants to evolve toward a more technical, expert-level position, working on complex customer cases, digital twins, and in close interaction with R&D.
The objective of the role is to provide reactive and proactive global support services for NCSIMUL across all Hexagon MI regions, acting as a key technical escalation point and as the interface between regional support teams, resellers, and the software development (R&D) teams.
Job Responsibilities
Level 2 / Global Support
* Provide second-level technical support for issues escalated by regional support teams.
* Investigate complex customer issues related to CNC simulation, digital twins, and machine behavior.
* Deliver direct support to established resellers requiring advanced expertise.
Training & Documentation
* Ensure that regional technical support teams are appropriately trained on new features and functionality introduced in new software releases.
* Generate support documentation that can be localized within regions to help support their customers, improving standards and avoiding duplication of effort.
* Work with regional support teams to generate, manage, and promote self-service support solutions.
Product Adoption
* Provide help and assistance to regions to adopt products that are not yet distributed within the region.

Qualifications
* Higher qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or Industrial IT.
* 3–5 years minimum experience in CNC, CAM, machining simulation or technical support.
* Experience with NCSIMUL or equivalent software.
* Strong background in CNC programming and machine tools.
* Solid understanding of CNC machining, metal cutting and machine behavior.
* Comfortable with logic-based programming / scripting concepts.
* Ability to analyze complex technical issues independently.
* Clear communicator able to work with global teams and R&D.
* Professional working proficiency in English. French is a strong plus, to facilitate exchanges with development teams in France.
