Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role As our new Application Engineer, you'll leverage your experience in embedded systems and technical expertise to drive cutting-edge solutions in the semiconductor and ultra-wide band industries. With a strong foundation in programming languages like C/C++ and Python, you'll be empowered to shape the future of software design and collaboration, and take your career to the next level. Develop, maintain, and enhance embedded software for microcontrollers, focusing on ultra-wide band applications, performance, and reliability Write and review clean, efficient, and well-documented C code, adhering to best practices and standards Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets customer needs, industry standards, and internal quality benchmarks Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues using various tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field At least 5 years of professional experience in Software Development, preferably in industries related to semiconductors, ultra-wide band, or similar, with a focus on embedded systems Very good understanding of the embedded software development process, familiarity with embedded real-time OS platforms, embedded Linux and proficiency in C/C++ and Python is required Proficiency in Software Development tools including GIT, make/C Make, and other version control and build automation tools Experience with ensuring quality through automated testing (unit testing, integration testing), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD), and code reviews Knowledge on UWB standards defined by organizations such as Car Connectivity Consortium (CCC), FiRa Consortium, Aliro, IEEE S trong technical and analytical skills combined with a team-oriented mindset Excellent German and English communication skills The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H ( https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
