Additional information:
* These roles are Permanent Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight
* The internal job title for this role is Fulfilment Operations Team Leader
* This role requires availability to work Monday to Sunday, 5 am to 11 pm
* The store operates 7 days a week; you must be available to work a rotating roster with day and evening shifts, including alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday)
* A pre-employment check is required for final candidates
About this work area
As Fulfilment Operations Team Leader, your responsibilities include:
* Overseeing operations at the External Warehouse (Canning Vale) and supporting the main store (Innaloo) by managing daily operations, including container receivals, unloads, internal site replenishment, and external replenishment for the store
* Managing daily activities, rostering, breaks, and achieving KPIs for the team
* Ensuring efficient warehouse systems for stock allocation, inventory control, and conducting investigations related to discrepancies
* Leading recruitment, retention, and development of team members to ensure a high-performing, diverse team
* Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with IKEA Code of Conduct and local regulations
* Continuously improving operations to enhance customer shopping experience through product quality, merchandising, and stock accuracy
* Promoting quality awareness, implementing local business plans/projects, and analyzing workload to achieve operational excellence
Who you are
As Fulfilment Operations Team Leader, you:
* Have experience leading teams in operational functions, with a proven record of delivering results and developing people
* Are passionate about customer-centric Fulfilment Operations
* Possess sound computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office
* Have excellent communication skills for building relationships and managing stakeholders
* Think ahead, stay calm under pressure, and excel in decision-making and problem-solving
* Are comfortable with strategic, tactical, and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Maintain self-awareness and a safety mindset to ensure a safe working environment while delivering results
