Director of Communications
to join our team at Rosewood Schloss Fuschl. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the hotel's narrative, elevating its global visibility, and protecting its esteemed reputation. This leader drives strategic communications with a focus on storytelling rooted in Austrian culture, craftsmanship, and the legacy of Schloss Fuschl.
Key expectations
:
* Develop and execute an annual communications strategy that reflects the unique identity of Rosewood Schloss Fuschl and aligns with Rosewood's brand philosophy of A Sense of Place.
* Elevate the hotel's positioning through curated storytelling around wellness, gastronomy, nature, culture, and the castle's historic heritage.
* Serve as the guardian of the hotel's voice, ensuring all messaging is refined, authentic, and globally consistent.
* Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier media across luxury, travel, culture, lifestyle, gastronomy, and business segments.
* Oversee and evolve the digital narrative of Rosewood Schloss Fuschl across social channels, ensuring storytelling that reflects the beauty of the property and its surroundings.
* Curate high-quality visual and written content that captures the hotel's craftsmanship, culinary artistry, and guest experiences.
* Lead the creation of all communication materials including press releases, media kits, fact sheets, newsletters, and brand stories.
* Drive communication strategies around on-property events, culinary showcases, seasonal activations, and cultural programming inspired by Salzburg and the Salzkammergut region.
Profile:
* Previous experience in a comparable role in luxury hospitality or high‑end lifestyle brands, including leadership of PR/digital teams
* Proven success generating tier‑one coverage and leading complex, cross‑functional campaigns
* Sophisticated writing/editing skills; impeccable taste and visual judgement
* Expertise in social platforms, CMS, analytics tools; comfortable with data‑driven decision making
* Ability to translate vision into clear plans and anticipates market shifts
