At Group Markets Compliance, we ensure that Erste Group complies with key capital markets regulations across Austria and CEE. As a Markets Compliance Analyst, you will join the second line of defense and gain hands-on experience in MiFID / WAG, Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and Personal Account Dealing (PAD) - working closely with experienced compliance experts, local teams, and IT. Your Tasks * Support the execution of markets compliance controls (e.g. MiFID/WAG, MAR, PAD, conflicts of interest) * Assist in maintaining and improving group-wide control frameworks, documentation, and reporting standards * Work together with local compliance teams and first-line stakeholders in an international setup * Support data checks, process improvements, and system-supported compliance workflows * Contribute to reviews, internal presentations, guidance material, and training input Your Background * University degree and first professional experience in compliance, capital markets, law, audit, or a regulatory environment * Basic understanding of capital markets products and regulatory topics and a strong motivation to learn * Curiosity for data, tools, workflows, and compliance-related IT systems * Structured, reliable working style and willingness to take responsibility * Motivation to work in an international, collaborative setting * Very good English skills and basic German Our Offer * This role is designed for graduates and early-career professionals who want to build solid expertise in markets compliance and understand how regulation is implemented in practice across multiple countries. * Hands-on exposure to key EU capital markets regulations, applied across multiple countries * Learning from experienced colleagues in a supportive team environment * A role that combines regulatory content, analytical work, and system-based processes * International collaboration and early visibility within Erste Group * Long-term development opportunities within compliance or related functions * The minimum wage for this full-time position according to the collective agreement is EUR 44.860,76 gross per year.
