About the Role
If you are looking for a role with variety, this is it. As Category & Channel Development Manager your focus is to act as main point of contact concerning Channel & Category development. You will support the head of department and the sales departments regarding the development of the company plan and the implementation of Ferrero’s Category strategies.
Main Responsibilities
* Analyse the category development & identify opportunities & challenges for the dedicated customer/channel
* Conduct regular business reviews about key clients to evaluate performance and recommend improvements
* Participate in local & cluster‑level projects to support growth & innovation
* Define guidelines for the dedicated channels/customer regarding portfolio & visibility & ensure the individual customer plan coherence with the guidelines
* Be responsible for developing a category assessment in the customer perspective
* Understand key performance drivers at customer / channel level focusing on shopper behaviour
Who we are looking for
You actively drive the business process forward with your ideas & genuine impact. You should have experience in one of the following fields: trade marketing, key account management, shopper behaviour understanding, or category management processes & practices.
Qualifications
* University degree, ideally with a focus on business administration or a related field
* Professional experience of at least 1‑3 years
* Solution‑oriented personality and excellent communication & teamwork skills in a multicultural environment
* Analytical thinking
* Written & spoken German & English
* Confident user skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel & Power Point; Power‑PI knowledge is an advantage
* Structured, independent way of working with an excellent sense of customer needs & flexibility
