NXP Semiconductors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our Customer Application Support team. In this role, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting our cutting‑edge semiconductor products, assisting customers with technical inquiries, and contributing to the success of our global client base.
Responsibilities
* Assisting senior engineers in providing technical support to NXP customers regarding product application, integration, and troubleshooting.
* Conducting basic testing and reproduction of customer reported issues in a lab environment.
* Contributing to the development of technical documentation, application notes, and training materials.
* Participating in team meetings and learning sessions to enhance product knowledge and support skills.
* Performing other duties as assigned to support the Customer Application Support team.
Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of semiconductor devices, microcontrollers, and digital/analog electronics.
* Familiarity with embedded systems and programming languages (e.g., C/C++) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
* Proactive attitude with a desire to learn and contribute.
* Prior experience with customer interaction or technical support is beneficial but not required.
Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks. The assignment may/will be in scope of security certifications, therefore a conscious and reliable way of working is necessary.
The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2.100‑ gross/month for full-time equivalent at NXP Austria.
