Overview
As an ASX LISTED COMPANY, MLG Oz is a contractor of choice which employs more than 900 people across 30+ sites and delivers: Aggregate and Sand Supplies; Bulk Haulage & Integrated Site Services; Crushing & Screening; Export Logistics.
We are currently seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance of all facilities and equipment within your assigned region. You will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are operating at optimal levels and that all equipment is functioning properly.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the maintenance of all facilities and equipment within the assigned region
* Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment and facilities
* Minimise unplanned downtime and maximise machine hours through providing equipment technical knowledge and support to sites
* Champion the development and maintenance of operational maintenance procedures, and audit and drive compliance across the business in support of the project manager
* Act as a conduit for regional break down support between MLG sites, central maintenance workshops, OEMs and other required suppliers
* Development of Equipment Build Specification documents in support of Group Asset Management
* Manage vendor relationships and contracts
* Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues
Requirements
* Western Australian applicants ONLY
* Trade Qualification (Mobile Plant or equivalent) — Essential
* 3+ years of experience in a mining maintenance management role — Essential
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
