Prototyping Technician is responsible for realization of Electrical & Electronical prototype parts for Fuel Cell projects and laboratory’s needs.
Role responsibilities include:
* Manage inventory of EE material for prototypes realization.
* Manage equipment, identify needs and propose new equipment for prototyping.
* Create purchase order and follow deliveries.
* Adapt storage.
* Analyse the work request and exchange with requestor to clarify the needs.
* Design prototype and serial cable harnesses (HV&LV) and electronic boards.
* Define part list to realize prototypes and order parts needed.
* Realize prototypes: wire harness (LV & HV), electronic boards soldering, mechanical parts.
* Support supplier quality team for EE component incoming inspection.
* Check that supplier performance data are aligned with component specifications
* Check that prototype parts are fitting to drawing.
* Support EE Laboratory activities (testing of el. LV & HV components and FCM systems).
* Support validation tests (System build-up, adaptations, analyses).
* Identify improvements and lessons learned.
* Investigating and implementing of new trends in EE.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Technician certificate (Electrical and/or electronics) with 5 years’ experience
* Advanced technician’s certificate (Electrical and/or electronics) with 2 years’ experience
* Electrical certification for Austria is a plus
* EMC knowledge and HV <1000 VDC experience is an advantage
* Demonstrated experience in electrical or electronic field in prototyping, production or laboratory
* Experience in machinery industry on electrical or electronical is also accepted
* Demonstrated skills in electrical wiring assembly
* Demonstrated experience in PCB assembly manual soldering
* Experience in wiring harness design
* Experience in electronic board design is a plus
The minimum gross salary acc. to collective labour agreement (EEI) is planned at EUR 3.775,27 per month for fulltime 38,5 hours per week (14x p.a.), with a willingness to pay more for appropriate qualifications and experience. In addition, we voluntarily offer comprehensive benefits and an attractive personnel development program.
