Key responsibilities in your new role * Set up and maintain test benches: Testing of power electronic components * Support in designing, building and assembling test PCBs * Purchasing of required components and materials * Evaluation of cutting-edge technologies: Support evaluation of TRENCHSTOP(tm) IGBT, CoolSiC(tm) MOSFET and CoolSiC(tm) JFET * Support in performing characterization tests on automatic test equipment as well as application tests on custom-made test boards and setups * Generate reports based on acquired test data Further Information Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.) Duration: min. 1 year Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Education: Motivated and committed student (f/m/div) from the field of Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar * Technical Skills: MS office skills in Excel, Word and Power Point * Hands-on mentality: Ability and willingness to work in a power electronic laboratory at high voltage/power/current * Organizational Skills: A self-motivated and proactive working style * Language Skills: Fluent in English, German is a plus This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
