As a Program Manager at Lam, you're not just overseeingprojects, you're an owner of the 8 Disciplines Program. 8D is Lam's primary mechanism for resolving nonconformances registered on products and services. You'll combine your problem-solving expertise and semiconductor technical knowledge to further Lam's vision and goals for sustainable problem solutions and customer satisfaction.
Ensure successful resolution of nonconformances to positively impact Lam's customers.
Proactively use non conformance data analysis to improve manufacturing practices and supplier base part quality and decrease Cost of Poor Quality.
Influence and enhance Lam's Quality culture by advocating for strong problem solving skills across the organization.
12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience with a Master's Degree or 5 years of experience with Ph.BA/BS degree in a STEM field and/or Quality Management.
~ Experience as a Project/Program Manager with escalating responsibilities.
~ Demonstrable abilities in advanced structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, DMAIC, PDCA), Lean Six Sigma, and other established quality tools.
~ Experience in successfully leading others in structured problem-solving methodologies and use of quality tools to solve complex problems.
~ Knowledge and application of Change Management methodologies across a global organization is required.
Experience in Quality Management, Product Development/Engineering, Manufacturing, or Customer Service is a plus.
Ability to exercise forward thinking via integration of data analytics and AI applications is highly preferred.
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry ( in the occupation group F or G depending on educational background.
