A well-established, service-driven organisation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the end-to-end coordination of trade maintenance services. Based in Collingwood, this role is responsible for managing quoting accuracy, workflow efficiency, trade performance, and client communication across essential maintenance services.
As Maintenance Manager, you’ll take ownership of operational outcomes—ensuring jobs are quoted correctly, scheduled efficiently, completed to standard, and billed promptly. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external trades, and leadership to continuously improve turnaround times, service quality, and financial performance.

Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all trade maintenance activities requiring quotations (e.g. gas, electrical, general maintenance).
Review, approve, and ensure accuracy of maintenance quotes prior to client issue.
Lead and support the maintenance coordination team to ensure workflows are followed and deadlines met.
Act as the key escalation point for complex maintenance issues, delays, or client concerns.
Coordinate with internal trades and external contractors to clarify scope, pricing, and timelines.
Ensure maintenance jobs are scheduled, tracked, and completed efficiently.
Liaise with property managers, clients, and renters to provide clear updates and manage expectations.
Monitor job turnaround times, trade performance, and service quality.
Provide regular reporting to leadership on quoting volumes, completion rates, costs, and operational performance.
Partner with finance to oversee accounts receivable support, including payment follow‑ups, escalations, and process improvements.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and service delivery.
Offer high level of autonomy and ownership over maintenance operations.
Provide direct access to leadership with genuine influence on business decisions.

Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in maintenance coordination, trade services, facilities management, or property services.
Proven experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
Solid understanding of quoting, scheduling, and trade-based workflows.
Experience supporting or overseeing invoicing and accounts receivable processes.
Strong leadership, organisational, and decision‑making skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency with job management systems and Excel.
Background in trades, compliance, facilities, or property-related industries highly regarded.
High attention to detail with the ability to balance hands‑on work and strategic oversight.
Additional Details
Hybrid role: 4 days in the Collingwood office, 1 day from home once established.
Preferred hours: 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, with flexibility.
