We are currently seeking a JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER (m/f/d) in the field of hydropower at our location in Vienna for Synchronous Condenser Projects.
YOUR PROFILE
1. Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in the energy or construction sector
3. Strong organizational and time management skills
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Proficiency in project management software (, Primavera, Asana, Trello)
6. Familiarity with Synchronous Condensers and grid stability technologies
7. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
8. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to managing risks
9. Willingness to travel internationally as required
10. Proficiency in German and English to effectively communicate with international stakeholders
11. Additional foreign language skills (, French, Spanish, Chinese) are an advantage
YOUR TASKS
As a Junior Project Manager for Synchronous Condenser Projects, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of projects focused on supplying and implementing Synchronous Condensers to improve the stability and reliability of the electrical grid. You will work closely with senior project managers and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will involve coordinating tasks, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders. Additionally, you must be able to represent the senior project manager in meetings and communications when necessary.
12. Assist in the development of project plans and schedules for Synchronous Condenser initiatives
13. Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure seamless execution
14. Monitor project progress and report on status, highlighting key milestones and potential issues
15. Identify and resolve issues and risks related to Synchronous Condenser supply and implementation
16. Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and gather requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals
17. Represent the senior project manager in meetings and communications as needed
18. Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
19. Support senior project managers in various tasks as needed, including technical assessments and regulatory compliance
20. Willingness to travel internationally to oversee project implementation and meet with global stakeholders
21. Commercial understanding to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and ensure financial viability of project
We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € ,09 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
