Your Future Responsibilities
The Research Unit Architectures & Topologies focuses on novel topologies for various converter applications, passive technologies within circuits, and new device or module technologies for power converters.
The Power Electronics Division, specifically the Research Unit Architectures & Topologies in Graz, seeks a new Altium Library Manager for its current projects. This role involves managing and maintaining the Altium component library, supporting the design process, and assisting with software onboarding and license management. Depending on your skills and experience, you may also contribute to PCB design, hardware prototyping, and testing.
Responsibilities
* Library Management & Component Creation
o Creating and adding new components to the Altium library
o Reviewing and releasing components according to the design process
o Ensuring component data accuracy and compliance with standards
* Altium Software & License Support
o Managing Altium software licenses
o Providing onboarding support and training for new colleagues
* Additional Technical Support (Based on Experience)
o Ordering components for hardware design
o Designing schematics and PCBs
o Assisting in hardware prototyping and soldering
o Designing, operating, and maintaining 3D printing
o Performing measurements, tests, and commissioning
Your Profile
* HTL or higher education in electrical engineering, electronics, or related fields
* Experience with Altium Designer in an industrial environment
* Motivated to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary research environment
* Experience in PCB design, prototyping, soldering, 3D printing, or testing is a plus
* Experience with PCB commissioning
* Organized and structured work approach
* Willingness to relocate to Graz, Austria
* Proficiency in English

This position is governed by the Collective Agreement for non-university research employees, starting at occupational group D, with a minimum monthly salary of EUR 3,252, paid 14 times annually.
