Position Overview
Consultant – Strategy & Transformation within Advisors & Consulting Services at Mastercard. Our team is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and innovative platforms to provide strategic recommendations to a diverse global client base across industries such as banking, payments, retail, and restaurants.
Specializations
The Advisors & Consulting Services group includes five areas: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Strategy & Transformation consultants guide clients through impactful decision-making to address strategic, operational, and transformational challenges, applying a broad set of problem-solving techniques to enhance strategy, performance, and operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
* Provide creative input on projects across various industries and problem statements.
* Develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data and technology to unlock value.
* Collaborate with Mastercard teams to understand client needs, agendas, and risks.
* Build trusted relationships with client analysts and managers.
Team Collaboration & Culture
* Work with senior consultants to identify key findings, prepare presentations, and deliver recommendations.
* Independently analyze issues within your area of expertise and synthesize findings.
* Lead meetings and contribute to project management and intellectual capital.

Qualifications
Basic
* Undergraduate degree with experience in consulting, strategy, business intelligence, or related fields.
* Experience managing clients or stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Effective communication in English and German.
* Eligibility to work and travel as required.
Preferred
