Conducting contract and price negotiations for medium to high volumes to achieve cost savings and thereby making a significant contribution to the company's profitabilityContinuously monitoring procurement markets and implementing alternative sources of supply to integrate new suppliers and product innovations into the purchasing portfolioMaintaining contact with internal and external stakeholders to identify developments (market, demand, etc.), exert appropriate influence, and optimize internal processesCreating price forecasts, internal key performance indicators, and reports to provide essential data for corporate planning (costing data), management, and reportingContinuous supplier management through supplier analysis and evaluation to ensure an optimal supply chain and to consistently secure the best suppliersImplementing agreed, site-wide procurement strategies and initiatives, as well as tendering for new requirements in the procurement marketRegular alignments with the Category Manager regarding procurement markets and strategies to ensure long-term and cost-effective supply
