Your key responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the Austrian FC&A EMEA team of 7-8 FTEs to achieve business objectives. The teamconsist of a group legal entity controllers, who are responsible to deliver and execute the finance planning, actuals, closing and reporting activities for the assigned reporting units. Furthermore, there are team members reporting into you for accounting matters and local compliance.
* Ensure the quality, accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial closing process and analysis for theassigned reporting units, in accordance with dsm-firmenich Accounting Rules, international and local statutory accounting standards;
* Define and follow up on mitigation actions in case of issues during the closing in order to ensure correctand complete actuals and meet defined deadlines; drives the monthly evaluation meeting withstakeholders and follow up on occurred issues and define improvements actions;
* Develop, mentor and coach team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their growth andobjectives;
* Provide insights and recommendations to the FC&A EMEA unit lead and other stakeholders;
* Join the country leadership team as the finance representative and be a business partner to the local business for all finance related activities;
* Ensurecompliance with internal control requirements;
* Be responsible for the preparation of the annual financial statements according to local GAAP and IFRS and actas the main point of contact for all internal and external audits, follow up on financial and tax audit;
* Ensure transfer pricing monitoring and compliance in accordance with local laws and group standards
* Be responsible for grant applications with focus on R&D tax credits findings
* Key user for SAP FI, Ariba and finance digitalization projects

You bring
We are looking for an ambitious and talented team player with the following qualifications:
* Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Financial Controlling, and/or licensed certified publicaccountant;
* More than 6 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Controlling;
* Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring a team;
* Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes, IFRS principles and Austrian local GAAP;
* Fluent in German and English
* In-depth knowledge of local compliance rules with regards to direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricingand governmental requirements (e.g. Statistik Austria, ÖNB) for manufacturing and holding companies;
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (SAP FI/CO experience is a plus);
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and supervising skills, with ability to influence and collaborateeffectively across functions and levels;
