Overview
Our client is a globally active organisation operating in a complex, international environment. To support the Group Finance function, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the Group Consolidation team on a permanent basis.
This role offers exposure to group-level accounting topics, international stakeholders and US GAAP reporting within a structured and professional setting.
Responsibilities
* Preparation, review and reconciliation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and capital expenditure reports
* Active involvement in monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP and SOX requirements
* Analysis and assessment of complex transactions, including technical accounting research and the preparation of accounting memoranda
* Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights to support business decisions
* Ensuring audit readiness and supporting internal and external audits, including the documentation and maintenance of Sarbanes-Oxley controls
Qualifications
* Commercial accounting education or equivalent qualification
* Several years of experience in a comparable role within an international organisation
* Solid knowledge of US GAAP; CPA certification with an active licence is required
* Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Detail-oriented, hands-on and results-driven mindset
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel
