Job Overview:
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative who thrives in a marketing-centric environment—think marketing agencies, MarTech, or SEO SaaS platforms. You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle: from identifying new opportunities and nurturing leads, to closing deals and managing client relationships post-sale.
This role is ideal for someone who's both strategic and hands-on, equally comfortable with outbound prospecting and managing ongoing client success.
Key Responsibilities
* Take ownership of the full sales cycle: identify leads, prospect, present, negotiate, and close deals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, partners, and existing clients
* Collaborate with internal marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals
* Deliver customized sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs
* Act as the primary point of contact for client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities
* Track pipeline, manage CRM entries, and report on key sales metrics and forecasts
* Attend virtual or in-person industry events as needed to represent the company and generate leads
Requirements
* Must have
previous experience in a marketing-focused environment such as a
marketing agency
or
Marketing SaaS company
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Based in a
US or EU time zone
for collaboration with our team and clients
* Proven ability to manage the complete sales process independently
* Technically proficient, with a
strong understanding of the SEO landscape
— or willing to ramp up quickly
* Comfortable working in a remote and self-directed setting
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with sales tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo, or similar
* Experience selling to marketing teams or CMOs
* Prior experience managing strategic partnerships or enterprise accounts
