Your responsibilities
* Disciplinary and functional leadership of the entire sales team (Area Sales Managers) of the business unit, with a clear focus on achieving defined targets
* Planning and implementation of strategic initiatives to unlock new market potential and ensure sustainable, profitable market growth
* Overall responsibility for revenue, budget, and financial performance of the assigned business area, including the derivation and execution of appropriate management and control measures
* Development, optimization, and consistent advancement of product, portfolio, pricing, and service strategies based on market, trend, and competitive analyses
* Strategic planning, management, and coordination of all sales activities to ensure efficient market coverage and achievement of defined sales objectives
* Establishment and maintenance of long‑term customer and partner relationships, as well as active representation of the company at trade fairs, industry events, and with strategically important key accounts
How to convince us
* Completed degree (University of Applied Sciences or University) with a focus on Business Administration, Sales, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience (minimum 10 years) in technical B2B sales in a senior leadership role, along with proven experience in managing and developing teams
* Very good German and English language skills
* Proficient in SAP, CRM systems, and standard MS Office applications, particularly Excel
* Strong leadership personality with strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, a high level of results and customer orientation, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a solution‑oriented, resilient, and innovation‑driven working style
* Willingness to travel approximately 30%
