In your new role you will:
* Get familiar with the use case, the available software tools, and the existing computer vision methods
* Perform requirement analysis in close collaboration with the data science team and domain experts on the implementation and results of the image analysis to ensure compatibility with downstream activities
* Develop and implement a Deep Learning model to detect anomalies in wafer test data and identify dies affected by specific patterns
* Take care of documentation and communicate of results

Type of employment: Temporary / Fulltime or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: 11 months
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student (f/m/div)* from the fields of Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physicsor similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
* Know-How about training Deep Learning models (preferably for Computer Vision tasks)using PyTorch
* Practical experience with Python programming and relevant AI libraries (PyTorch, Pandas/Polars, Numpy, ...)
* Experience with version control using Git
* FamiliarityCI/CD tools e.g. Poetry, Jenkins (nice to have)
* Communicative character with joy in teamwork
* Fluent in English,German is a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students.
