As an E-Commerce & CRO Specialist, you own the optimization of the onsite customer journey with a strong focus on conversion, usability, and commercial impact.
You translate insights into experiments, structure testing roadmaps, and work closely with UX, Website, Content, and Performance teams to continuously improve the D2C experience.
This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven role – not a pure analyst, not a designer, but the bridge between data, UX, and commercial outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Own and optimize the end‑to‑end customer journey across channels – designing differentiated onsite experiences for new vs. returning users and continuously developing channel‑specific journeys (e.g. Meta, Google, CRM, Organic) that guide users from first touch to conversion with clear differentiation between categories (Watches vs Jewelry).
* Own and evolve the CRO roadmap across landing pages, PDPs, PLPs, and checkout.
* Define hypotheses based on data, user behavior, and sales psychology.
* Plan, prioritize, and evaluate A/B tests in collaboration with UX, Website, and IT.
* Analyze onsite performance (conversion, funnel drop‑offs, engagement metrics).
* Improve customer journeys for different audiences (new vs. returning, categories, campaigns).
* Work closely with Copy & Creative to optimize messaging, structure, and persuasion.
* Support campaign and launch setups from a conversion & UX perspective.
* Ensure learnings are documented and translated into scalable best practices.
Qualifications
* 1‑2 years experience in E‑Commerce, CRO, or Digital Optimization (D2C strongly preferred).
* End‑to‑end e‑commerce mindset with an understanding of how traffic source, intent, onsite experience, and conversion mechanics work together.
* Strong understanding of conversion optimization, UX principles, and sales psychology.
* Experience working with A/B testing tools, analytics, and dashboards.
* Ability to turn data into clear actions and priorities.
* Comfortable working cross‑functionally with UX, tech, content, and performance teams.
* Structured, curious, and commercially minded.
* Fluent in English (German is a plus).
* Nice to have:
* Experience with Shopify and/or Magento environments.
* Familiarity with personalization, product sorting, or recommendation logic.
* Prior exposure to brand‑driven D2C companies.
