The role involves designing mobile communications projects for today’s GSM‑R solutions and future technologies such as FRMCS/IMS in a multinational environment. We seek a dedicated professional with passion and expertise in mobile communications technology and cloud environments.
Responsibilities
* Design, deploy and operate scalable OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters across development, testing and production environments.
* Drive automation by streamlining cluster provisioning, lifecycle management and day‑to‑day operations.
* Enable continuous integration, testing and deployment for R&D applications across multiple departments.
* Empower development teams in building and deploying containerized applications.
* Collaborate closely with researchers and developers to prototype innovative solutions and actively shape architecture decisions.
Qualifications
* Completed technical education in IT, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
* Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts and strong knowledge of IP networking.
* Hands‑on experience in Linux administration.
* Strong problem‑solving skills combined with analytical thinking.
* Hands‑on experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and operations including cluster deployment.
* Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, OpenShift Service Mesh) is a plus.

We offer a gross annual salary starting at EUR 75,000 per year; higher salaries are possible depending on qualifications and experience.
