The opportunity:
As the Account Manager for after sales support, you'll take ownership of post-sales relationships with key customers. In this role, you’ll focus on driving spare parts, upgrade, and refurbishment sales, while ensuring high levels of service delivery and support.
Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you’ll nurture and expand relationships across the WA resources sector. You’re a confident communicator and natural relationship builder who can maintain the company's strong industry reputation and deliver value to their clients.
Your technical understanding of minerals processing and materials handling equipment will help you identify customer needs and deliver timely, effective solutions.
This role will suit those who are proactive, technically minded, and customer-focused, with a hands-on approach to solving problems—particularly around breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and parts planning/supply.
Based in Perth, you’ll collaborate closely with teams in WA, NSW, and QLD, with some travel to client sites across WA and occasional interstate travel.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
* Strong technical knowledge of mining equipment, including mechanical components and parts interpretation using technical drawings.
* Experience contributing to regional/global sales targets and identifying new growth opportunities.
* A proven track record of customer retention and service excellence.
* Ability to build and maintain solid relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Knowledge of spare parts, upgrades, refurbishments, and site service solutions.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms and ERP systems.
* Experience in project managing spare parts supply and overhaul projects.
* Clear, honest, and professional communication skills with all stakeholders.
