As our Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT operations by strengthening resilience and enabling data-driven decision‑making. You will ensure robust data integration across infrastructure services and lead disaster recovery strategies to safeguard business continuity. This role directly supports our Scaling IT roadmap, aligning cutting‑edge architecture with enterprise standards and fostering collaboration across teams to drive growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of integration frameworks to enable seamless, secure, and efficient data flow across the organisation’s global infrastructure systems.
* Develop and optimise ETL processes, manage API integrations, and establish robust metadata management practices.
* Evaluate and select integration tools, standardise data exchange protocols, and oversee the entire integration lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
* Take ownership of the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive disaster recovery plans, including risk assessments, RTO/RPO definition, testing, and documentation.
* Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and security policies, maintaining architecture blueprints, specifications, and compliance reviews.
* Build strong partnerships with infrastructure, application, and security teams, provide technical guidance and mentorship, and champion architectural standards across all projects.
Qualifications
* 7+ years in IT infrastructure architecture or related roles.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* English mandatory, German optional.
* Proven expertise in data integration platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and/or disaster recovery planning.
* Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
* Proficiency in virtualization, storage, networking, and backup technologies.
* Familiarity with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Salary and Benefits
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2,691 gross per month. Our attractive compensation package is market‑oriented and therefore significantly above the stated minimum.
