We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to drive the technical approach, work breakdown, execution, and delivery of projects in one of our Platform teams. You have the knowledge to tackle overarching strategic topics, influence the architecture, focus on performance & security, and advocate for best engineering practices.
This is a full-time position, where you can work either remotely in Europe or from our offices in Vienna, Katowice or Sofia.
What you'll do:
In the first month:
Get to know your product development team and familiarize yourself with our product, technologies, systems & architecture, processes and practices.
Absorb our engineering culture, start coding, and ramp up quickly within the Adverity universe.
Get to know the architecture and codebase inside-out.
In the first 6 months:
Support your product development team with deep code reviews, guiding them towards better system quality and engineering practices.
Participate in shaping new features by getting hands-on in PoCs, breaking down technical scopes, and starting work on team deliveries.
Beyond the first 6 months:
Become very familiar with the Adverity platform, both product and tech.
Participate in strategic cross-product engineering initiatives and help product teams make pragmatic technical decisions based on limited context, striving to improve maintainability and reliability.
Increase your impact beyond your product team to the entire engineering team and beyond.
We are excited if you have:
Fluency in Python and (preferably) the Django framework. You have managed large-scale production systems.
Thorough knowledge of front-end technologies, like TypeScript and preferably React or Vue.js.
Experience with building and maintaining REST APIs.
Ability to perform deep code reviews, connecting the dots and focusing on the bigger picture.
Soft skills: over-communication, good listening skills, ability to advocate, persuade, negotiate, and synthesize information in writing.
Positive attitude towards continuous improvement & learning.
Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Strong customer-centric approach.

If filled in Vienna, the minimum gross salary is €60,000. Salaries elsewhere may vary; we offer competitive pay based on qualifications and experience.
