For our IT Team based in Klaus (Vorarlberg, Austria) we are currently looking for a
IT System Engineer – Focus Microsoft SQL, 80-100% (f / m / x)
What's it all about?
* You are responsible for maintaining, managing, and continuously optimizing our Microsoft SQL Server landscape and databases.
* You take care of monitoring and further development of database jobs and provide competent support to our internal specialist teams on all MS SQL database-related questions.
* You perform tuning and performance optimizations, oversee data transfers and migrations, and assist with performance and availability issues as well as the installation and testing of application upgrades.
* You manage applications in the Microsoft environment and actively contribute to various IT projects.
* You good knowledge in additional infrastructure areas – fantastic! We value flexibility and offer you the opportunity to apply your expertise in other fields as well.
What are we looking for?
* You have completed IT education (apprenticeship, technical college, or equivalent) or have acquired the necessary skills independently.
* You have several years of professional experience in an IT environment with Windows Server and stand out as an expert.
* You already have initial experience with automation, DevOps and MS SQL servers.
* You take a proactive approach and are a true team player.
* You are comfortable writing and communicating in English in a professional context.
