About The Role: We are seeking an agile, growth-oriented leader to oversee our Editorial Operations team in Austria. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead a compact but pivotal team as we expand our footprint in Austria and across other CEE countries. You will shape editorial operations based on our content strategy, scale operations by rethinking workflows through leveraging AI technologies, and drive cross-border collaboration. You will report directly to the Head of CEMEA Editorial Operations and collaborate with regional commercial, content, technology and product leaders to support business development and content expansion across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and innovate editorial operations with strong expertise in digital publishing processes
* Drive workflow improvements and introduce technologies, including automation and generative AI
* Manage, coach, and inspire a small, high-impact editorial team in Austria
* Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of content output while monitoring KPIs
* Support business growth by aligning editorial strategies with new markets and client needs
* Oversee print publishing processes, outsourcing, and vendor management
* Collaborate with global, regional, and cross-functional teams to harmonize workflows and strategies
Qualifications
* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Digital Media, or a related field
* 5+ years’ experience in publishing, editorial operations, or a related domain
* Proven track record in launching or expanding editorial content initiatives
* Experience managing or influencing teams in matrixed and international settings
* Strong knowledge of editorial technologies, CMS platforms, and generative AI tools
* Commercial acumen with ability to align content strategy to business impact
* Entrepreneurial mindset, strong stakeholder management, and passion for innovation
