Job Title: Senior Quality Leader
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will develop a global quality organization, manage direct and indirect quality metrics, and handle quality issues closely with customers. They will lead the quality team, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive joint initiatives with Product realization, Product management, and Purchasing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Further develop a global quality organization for a growing automotive supplier (4 plants in Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, and China)
* Manage the company's direct and indirect quality metrics and all related quality processes
* Handle quality issues closely with customers, ensuring timely resolution and strong customer relationships
* Develop and shape the company's quality strategy, aligning key stakeholders
* Lead the quality team and foster cross-functional collaboration and transparency
* Drive joint initiatives (e.g., Cost of Quality) with Product realization, Product management, and Purchasing
* Oversee tactical and operational implementation of the quality assurance strategy
* Prepare and conduct audits and assessments with quality partners
Requirements
A university degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field is required. Deep knowledge of the automotive industry and experience working with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers are essential. Strong communication skills in both English and German, written and spoken, are also necessary.
