Your Role & Responsibilities
Drive global sourcing excellence for PCBs and electrical components by combining strategic procurement with deep technical collaboration. In this role, you will unlock sustainable cost potential, expand supplier networks, and partner closely with engineering to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions across the product lifecycle.
* Identification and implementation of sustainable cost reductions through value engineering, design-to-cost, supplier workshops, cost structure analyses, as well as make‑or‑buy and footprint evaluations.
* Strategic management of the global supplier portfolio including supplier development, risk analyses, and implementation of dual‑/second‑source strategies for series products.
* Close collaboration with R&D, industrial engineering, and quality to ensure optimal specifications, technical feasibility, and industrialization maturity.
* Overseeing procurement activities for the responsible product groups, including benchmarking, market analyses, and ongoing assessment of supplier performance.
What It Takes To Run What Runs The World
* Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
* Several years of professional experience in international strategic purchasing, in an industrial environment.
* Profound knowledge of global procurement markets as well as cost structures in the manufacturing of electromechanical components.
* Fluent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
* Analytical skills, high result orientation, and negotiation competence.
* Stakeholder management, communication skills, and a high degree of personal responsibility.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 3 775.27 EUR monthly for a full‑time position as of May 2025. We would be happy to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience.
