The Role
The role will require the candidate to provide strategic direction, leadership, and oversight for all property and asset-related functions across the organisation.
Reporting into the Group CFO this role encompasses Property (owned and leased), Facilities Management, Site Acquisition, Fit outs, Fleet and Insurance. The Property Portfolio is spread across our international footprint (ANZ) and currently comprises corporate offices, trade training facilities, industrial facilities and retail operations.
Candidate Criteria
We are ideally looking for an experienced generalist across the corporate real estate space who is an experienced leader and people manager with:
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, leading an in-house property team and functions, with good strategic and operational planning capabilities.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience working with a group of CEO's and/or business unit leaders.
* Experience reporting into the C-suite and preparing board reports.
* The ability to drive sustainability, energy efficiency, and asset optimization.
* Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and partnerships with external stakeholders, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
