Description
We are looking for a Senior Fleet Operations Manager who is responsible for the safety, compliance, availability, and customer sentiment of the Fleet in their respective region of Austria. To be successful in this role, this person will need to execute the business strategy and understand where to invent and simplify solutions for the best outcome. This person will implement use of best practices and play a key role within the larger fleet organization across Europe.
Key Job Responsibilities
Ensure vehicles within the region are roadworthy and compliant with local regulations and Amazon Standards by performing audits and collating regional feedback through partnership with Fleet Compliance and Product teams.
Execute existing fleet initiatives and new product launches and support and engage with delivery partners by building mechanisms to help manage their fleet.
Influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, internal and external, to solve complex operational needs. Manage escalations and influence stakeholders.
Manage vehicle operational readiness and cosmetic standards across the region, collecting and analyzing data from different fleet management sources to secure customer experience.
Base the role in one of our delivery stations within Austria and travel 30‑40% of the time across the assigned region. Occasional travel across Europe will be required.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience influencing, interacting and building partnership with cross‑functional teams.
Ability to handle and prioritize when presented with a high volume of engagements.
Excellent communications skills and a high bar for accuracy and detail.
Advanced proficiency in German and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced or master’s degree or MBA.
Relevant Fleet Management or Operations experience, or equivalent background in mobility services.
The minimum basic salary for this position is EUR 6,025 gross per month. Depending on experience and qualifications, there is a willingness to overpay. In addition, sign‑on payments and restricted stock unit (RSU) award as well as employee discount may be offered.
