Major Tasks & Responsibilities
* Preparation and Review of Departmental P&Ls, quarterly & annual financial statements, and annual budgets.
* Liaise with external advisors on statutory financial information, tax computations.
* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including A/R, A/P, Credit, GL, Capital Expenditure, Payroll, VAT, Treasury, Revenue Recognition and Cost Accounting.
* Prepare timely internal monthly accounts (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflows, and Analysis) for review by Regional and Global Accounting teams.
* Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities and drive initiatives to promote efficient and cost‑effective operations.
* Provide financial and accounting expertise and support for regional business operations management teams (budgets, etc.).
* Proactively communicate with the team to ensure awareness of policies and regulations.
* Management of the accounting team.
What you bring to this challenge
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
* MUST HAVE: 8+ years of Accounting & Finance experience, including at least 3 years in Austria.
* High level of Austrian tax and regulatory knowledge.
* Experience in compliance and internal controls.
* Comprehensive accounting expertise, including AR, AP, GL, accounts reconciliation and month-end closing.
* UGB, IFRS and preferably US GAAP experience.
* Advanced Microsoft Office, including Excel Formulas and Pivot Tables.
* Proven leadership attitude and skills.
* MUST HAVE: German & English at minimum C1 level.

* Salary according to the collective agreement; approximately EUR 3,030.00 (C1) to EUR 4,020.00 (D1) gross per month, with possible overpayment depending on experience and qualifications.
