About the role
This is a people-centred, high-energy role where no two days look the same.
You’ll be the first point of contact for our Melbourne residents and a connector across Victoria’s broader innovation ecosystem.
From community rituals to ecosystem mixers, your work will ensure founders feel supported, inspired, and connected.
Reporting to the Head of Ecosystems and working closely with Operations, Marketing, and Programs, you’ll help create experiences that deepen engagement and strengthen Stone & Chalk’s presence in Melbourne.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
* Resident community and experience – Build strong relationships, foster a warm and trusted environment, and connect residents with opportunities, people, and support.
* Ecosystem engagement – Engage with community groups, accelerators, investors, and partners. Represent Stone & Chalk at events and bring external speakers and collaborators into the hub.
* Events and rituals – Support and deliver resident gatherings, capability workshops, ecosystem mixers, partner activations, and VIP tours. Manage logistics, coordination, RSVPs, and highlights.
* Community insights and reporting – Track engagement trends, resident sentiment, ecosystem opportunities, and event data to support continuous improvement.
* Systems and operational excellence – Maintain community processes, templates, and communication channels, and support partner and resident onboarding.
