Job Profile:
* Conduct research including field work, write publications in scientific journals, acquire third-party funding, and collaborate with scientists and technicians nationally and internationally.
* Contribute to the organisation, administration, and management of the laboratory and the working group.
* Teaching responsibilities.
* Maintain and manage the working group's field and laboratory equipment.
Your Profile:
* Completed relevant doctoral or PhD studies in biology, ecology, environmental sciences, or related disciplines.
* Research experience with biogeochemical and environmental-microbiological methods, especially in running water ecosystems, and molecular-biological methods.
* Experience with multi-scale spatial ecology approaches, data management, spatial statistical analysis, and programming in R.
* High creativity, problem-solving skills, ability to work in interdisciplinary and international teams, organisational skills, independence, and experience in technical interactions.
