Responsibilities
* Join our team and provide partnership-based, practice-oriented advice on selected topics. A broad spectrum of tasks includes:
* Transforming technical specifications in accounting (e.g., IFRS 17, US-GAAP, Solvency II) into configurations within SAP S/4HANA FPSL.
* Adjusting the FPSL data model and aligning it with data from inventory and actuarial systems.
* Managing the application lifecycle across design, implementation, configuration, quality assurance, support, and development.
* Participating in SAP FPSL implementation projects in roles such as business analyst, developer, work package manager, sub-project manager, project manager, functional architect, or IT architect.
* Supporting proof of concept development, proposal preparation, and new consulting product development.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills and enjoyment of creative, independent work in an open and dynamic environment.
* Ideal candidates will have:
* A relevant university degree
* At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in insurance, consulting, or auditing firms
* In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA FPSL, or alternatively SAP Insurance Analyzer or SAP Bank Analyzer (smart) AFI
* Profound expertise in accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 17, US-GAAP, Solvency II)
* Willingness to learn and perform, strong communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, team ability, and presentation skills
* Willingness to travel and fluency in German and English
Additional skills in Java, AWS, Clean Code, and SOLID principles are advantageous.
