We are looking for a Lead Global Category Manager to join our Procurement Team. The successful candidate will play a key role within the INNIO Direct Material Procurement Team with responsibilities for the C‑Class Category.

Your Responsibilities
* Leading the development of procurement strategy for a new innovative product at INNIO
* Definition and description of a viable procurement strategy for base engine parts
* Cross‑functional coordination for identification, selection, and development of critical suppliers
* Implementation & execution of structured supplier relationship management plans
* Management of supplier contracts and negotiations
Your Profile
* Significant experience in direct material procurement, primarily within the machinery sector, with expertise in C‑parts (filters, O‑rings, insulations, seals). Basic understanding of Kanban is required.
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management is preferred. Alternatively, a technical high school diploma (e.g., HTL) combined with relevant work experience will also be considered.
* Outstanding influencing & negotiation and facilitation skills.
* Highly motivated with an outstanding track record concerning ability to deliver.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Team player mentality with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Fluent in German and English (oral and written).
* Experienced with the use of all Microsoft Office applications.
* Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time to our global supply base.
